10 Tips To Handling Your Teaching Workload

Hey, I'm Art Lieberman, and I teach middle school in Texas.

From year to year I might teach Language Arts, Math, Science, or Social Studies. Plus I usually sponsor an after-school activity like directing a play or doing a school podcast. This year we did an improv show.

Every year it seems like I'm having to learn something new.

And I can tell you this: there have been days when I didn't think I would be able to handle the work load.

One time I was teaching 6th and 7th grade science and directing a show. Of course, I was dealing with all of the other teaching responsibilities like calling parents, going to countless meetings, and analyzing test data. I thought I was going to come unglued.

That's when I came upon these tips.

I have borrowed these ideas from some of the most productive people in the world.

There really are easy things YOU can do to manage your work load.
